Launch of BattleBit Remastered in Early Access

The developer team is delighted to announce that BattleBit Remastered has been launched into Early Access. This release marks the culmination of seven years of dedicated development, during which the team and many devoted followers have shared an enriching journey.

Overview of BattleBit Remastered

BattleBit Remastered, as described on its Steam Page, is a massive multiplayer first-person shooter (FPS) rendered in a low-poly graphic style. The game supports up to 254 players on each server, offering large-scale battles on nearly fully destructible maps, complete with various vehicles.

Noteworthy Features

BattleBit Remastered is equipped with Easy Anti-Cheat, a robust anti-cheating solution. Although FACEIT was employed during playtesting, it is not part of the current game. Ensuring a fair experience for all players remains a priority, prompting the initiation of live moderation and monitoring. The game also introduces Twitch Drops, with a seven-week run starting from the launch date.

The developers have put substantial effort into the social aspects of the game. Players can form parties directly from the main menu or in-game through the ‘HOME’ sidebar. The game offers an array of communication channels, including various text chat options and voice chat supporting local/proximity, squad, and squad leaders.

Gameplay Details

Team-based modes assign players into squads of up to eight members, which can increase to twelve for Clan Squads. Each squad member can choose from six classes: Leader, Assault, Medic, Engineer, Support, and Recon. Each class has unique attributes and special gadgets, catering to a range of player styles.

All maps in BattleBit Remastered feature destructible environments, offering strategic gameplay opportunities. Destruction can be achieved with a wide range of tools, from sledgehammers and C4 to RPGs.

Vehicles are also a key aspect of gameplay. Players can deploy land, air, and sea vehicles, often designed for multi-player use, to gain a strategic advantage. Options include ground and air transports, tanks, APCs, and personal watercraft, among others.

Customization and Progression

Players progress through a combination of XP/Level and Kill Based systems. Character customization items, weapons, and attachments unlock as players level up and accumulate kills. The game features 39 weapons, including 5 new ones introduced with this release. BattleBit Remastered also allows comprehensive soldier customization, incorporating both cosmetic and gameplay elements.

With the game priced at $14.99 USD, BattleBit Remastered offers 6 classes, 18 maps, 44 weapons, 8+ game modes, and 254 player combined arms battles. The developer team looks forward to receiving player feedback and sharing future updates.
