Bugsnax Coming to iOS

Young Horses has announced that its unique adventure game, Bugsnax, is set to arrive on the App Store on July 12th. This release will allow iOS users to experience the charming world of Snaktooth Island on their mobile devices. It will include a new control scheme specifically designed for touch screens, while also providing compatibility with a wide variety of third-party gamepads.

The Whimsical World of Bugsnax

Bugsnax transports players to Snaktooth Island, a mythical land populated by the eponymous Bugsnax—legendary creatures that are half-bug, half-snack. Invited by the fearless explorer Elizabert Megafig, players arrive on the island only to find Megafig missing, her camp in ruins, and her followers scattered and hungry. The mystery of Megafig’s disappearance, the origins of the Bugsnax, and their unexpectedly delicious taste form the crux of the game’s engaging narrative.

The game presents players with a multitude of exciting activities and missions. They can discover, hunt, and capture all 100 different species of Bugsnax, using an assortment of contraptions and bait. By feeding these Bugsnax to the inhabitants of Snaxburg, players can customize their new friends with a vast array of looks.

A Journey of Discovery and Customization

As part of their journey through the diverse biomes of Snaktooth Island, players have the chance to unravel the mysteries surrounding Lizbert’s band of misfits and the enigmatic island itself. Venturing off the beaten path to engage in side quests, players can test their skills against formidable supersized Bugsnax.

Beyond the quests and exploration, the game offers players the opportunity to personalize their experience. They can complete challenges received via their mailbox, collect decorations to customize their hut, and, most interestingly, adorn their favorite Snax with hats.

The upcoming iOS version of Bugsnax will feature all the content from the previously released DLC, The Isle of BIGsnax. This additional content is set to enhance the mobile gaming experience, offering more adventures and mysteries for players to delve into. With its upcoming release on iOS, Bugsnax is poised to captivate a whole new cohort of mobile gamers with its enchanting world and engaging gameplay.
