About The King of Fighters XV

Released on February 17, 2022, The King of Fighters XV is a continuation of the famed fighting game series developed by SNK. This installment is notable for being the first in the series to utilize Unreal Engine 4, and for implementing GGPO rollback networking, an advanced network solution for fighting games that ensures minimal lag during online play.

SNK’s creation takes place after the events of The King of Fighters XIV. The narrative focuses on two fighters possessing multiverse-related supernatural powers, Shun’ei and Isla, alongside other returning heroes who must face revived threats.

Besides the home console versions, an arcade version known as The King of Fighters XV: Arcade Edition will be published by Bandai Namco Amusement. This upcoming update with cross-platform play and the introduction of the new character Goenitz demonstrate SNK’s commitment to keeping the game fresh.
